TRADES (Feb 19 & 20)

I’ve been away for a few days after deciding to move back to my previous broker, Ocean One Securities. I wasn’t particularly happy with IBKR — the platform felt laggy, and I experienced recurring execution issues. Overall, it just wasn’t a great fit for me.

I’ll be funding the new account gradually. In the meantime, I’ll continue posting daily results for both day trading and swing trading. Position sizes will remain small for now 🙂 Still, it’s valuable (and fun) to document everything and track progress properly.

No swing trades at the moment, as I haven’t found any high-quality setups. I’ve included a missed trade from earlier for reference. Below are my day trades for February 19 and 20, along with my own notes. Not perfect execution across the board, but overall solid progress:

WIN: Clean short scalp into the 9 EMA.

 

 

WIN: OK volume. Flag pattern — perfectly fine scalp. Nothing to be overly proud of.

 

WIN: Good volume. Bulls were extended — risky trade, but an OK scalp.

 

 

WIN: Good volume, good first entry. Took the risk and held through the pullback.

Managed it well by mapping out the opening range and using it as your stop.

 

 

LOSS: Low volume, extended from the 9 EMA. Not a good trade.

LOSS: Low volume, but an OK entry into the 9 EMA.

 

LOSS: Poor trade. Low volume and the entry was extended from the 9 EMA.

 

 

WIN: Aggressive short — entered too early and took on risk. Exit was OK.
